All AbleTalk therapists are licensed by the state of Oklahoma and have experience in a variety of settings with individuals of all ages and abilities. They are dedicated to helping the individual perform at maximum potential.
Karen Croley, MS, CCC-SLP: Karen graduated from the University of Tulsa with her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in May 1989. She has worked in schools, hospital, university and now in private practice as the owner of AbleTalk Therapies, Inc. She is passionate for helping children who cannot communicate effectively, either due to speech sound problems and/or language disorders. When she’s not in the office, Karen enjoys hiking and can be found most weekends in the woods somewhere. When it’s too hot to hike, she enjoys swimming and reading a good mystery. Her family is important to her, including her collie, Sadie.
Megan Thill, MS, CCC-SLP: Megan graduated from Northeastern State University I 2009 with her MS in Speech-Language Pathology. In the pat 11 years, she has primarily served children in both the schools and private practice settings. Megan has worked with a wide array of clients, including children in need of early childhood intervention, those o the autism spectrum and any clients age 3 to 18 who is in need of speech and language services. She has experience with expressive/receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, AAC devices and much more. During her free time, Megan can be found playing with her animals, spending quality time wit her friends and family and exploring new places. Megan also owns our clinic therapy dog, Alice.
Emily Thill, MS, CF-SLP: Emily graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s Health Sciences Center with her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2020. During her studies, Emily gained experience with early childhood intervention, children on the autism spectrum, infant feeding therapy and adult acute care. She has a passion for pediatrics and is ecstatic to serve AbleTalk Therapy’s diverse clientele. When she’s not in the office, Emily enjoys spending time with her two cats, two dogs, fiancé and loved ones. Her favorite past times include reading, swimming and finding deals at antique stores.
Renee Chancellor, OT/L: Renee graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings including child and adolescent mental health, geriatrics and adult long-term care. She has focused specifically on the pediatric population since 2014. Renee focuses on the whole child while integrating fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing and modulation skills, social-emotional regulation skills and other skills to increase independence. Her work experience has contributed to her ability for complex problem solving to the bring the pieces together to develop a specific plan of care for each child. Renee has lived in Tulsa her entire adult life. She loves Tulsa and the diverse population represented here. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as relaxing, watching old movies or playing with her dog, Annie.
Blanca Falcon, Administrative Assistant: Blanca was born in Puerto Rico. Her family moved to New York when she was 9 years old, but she lived in Puerto Rico again after she married. Blanca enjoys helping our families, and is invaluable with our Spanish-speaking families. She makes sure that everything at AbleTalk is running smoothly. When she is not at work, you will find her on the Tennis courts (an avid Tennis player), walking, or doing things with her large, extended family.
Alice: Alice is a 9-year-old black lab mix. She was rescued from the side of the road with her five puppies in tow. Megan found good homes for all of the puppies, but could not part with the sweet mama dog. Alice joined the “staff” at AbleTalk Therapies in 2019 and comes to work every day. She enjoys greeting everyone, and getting hugs and scratches from the children and adults who come to our office.
